Thoughts on Mindshare Chicago?
I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Contacting the recruiter twice already is plenty. Don’t try to get in touch with other interviewers—they have a recruiter because they want an intermediary. Hiring managers don’t have time to go back and forth with every interview candidate.
Hiring always takes longer than people think.
Agreed! Just that the wait is so difficult! Also i read someone that if its been 2 weeks, it mostly means a rejection. Thats what is scaring me. But then, i also hear that citi is supposedly slow in terms of hiring. 🙁
The wait IS difficult! It’s torture.
That stat isn’t true. But also, even if it’s a rejection, hounding them for an answer won’t change that fact. My best advice is to mentally move on from a job as soon as the interview is over. I pretend I didn’t get it and keep moving. If it comes back around, great.
If you don’t get a response in a week after last interview usually its bad news. There are exceptions but you should mot count on it. Move on, you ll find an even better job
