Anyone else watched Shtisel?! Sooo funny.
My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

I worked at DAL, they will low ball the shit out of you and tell you that the flight benefits are worth about $15k. They might be if you fly a lot but delta is very good at putting paying butts in seats and it’s extremely hard to fly standby (or non-rev) and get on those planes. But depending on which organization you’re working in you might be able to ask for more. Being completely honest with you, do not take the role especially if you’re coming from a tech company. Delta moves fast and welcomes change like a tech company but the culture is completely lacking. They are still very much a southern company. Something else to consider is that when I was there in 2021, their medical benefits were sub-par which will be a big difference from Microsoft. Finally, they currently have a lot of turn over and people I knew who were die-hard aviation geeks have left. Avoid at all costs.
I was on the commercial side, namely Global Sales. Corporate travel is simply never going to return to the levels that it was and leadership is delusional. Most who I knew who haven’t left the company left Sales for Cargo. I hope it gets better because it was a phenomenal team but 🤷🏽♀️
I was honestly so surprised by how high my offer was I didn’t try to counter (something I regret a year later) . I might try to take there offer and add 10-15% just to see what they do. Turnover is pretty high at least in the business unit I sit in (ops) so that might work in your favor
Did you get your offer? It sounds like it was either a level 8 or 9. I couldn’t get them to budge on salary when I started well before the pandemic. In hindsight I should have asked for more vacation but didn’t. Not sure if it’s negotiable or not.
Depends on your offer, hard to say without knowing details. I can say ask for more PTO (40 hours) and a signing bonus if one hasn’t been offered.
