Tell me again how it's Trump's rally's and not protests that have led to COVID cases. Hint: look at the cities that had major protests a few weeks back and compare to the state average.
"State reports more than 2,000 tests positive for coronavirus Sunday, no new deaths" https://www.wbay.com/2020/09/27/state-reports-more-than-2000-tests-positive-for-coronavirus-sunday-no-new-deaths/
Which one of you is doing this?!

What's the role? Feel like the company's future hinges on Aducanumab
Sounds like you might have beaten me for this role 😂😂😂. Congrats!
I was super excited about the position but was cautious about what happens org wide if the Aducanumab approval goes bust. I know the biosimilars unit is separate, but nothing is ever 100% firewalled. Did you talk to any of the interviewers about job security with that huge variable? They might be the best to help you here.
Absolutely love it here! Great culture and interesting work - especially if you like neuroscience. Benefits and comp are great (eg bonus funding was 136% in 2019 and 106% in 2020).
You’re absolutely right - a lot rests on ADU. But if ADU isn’t approved andthere are layoffs, they would be focused on the 100s of people hired to support the ADU launch. The rest of the company is lean so unlikely to see any substantive reduction.
The upside (ie ADU approval) is absolutely massive. And if it doesn’t get approved and we do somehow get laid off (again, unlikely) - there are plenty of biotech jobs in Cambridge. There is a ton of pharma activity in neuroscience - and Biogen is a great breeding ground for talent.
Everyone I know here thinks the upside is 100% worth the risk.
Unfortunately noI don’t - haven’t worked w that group yet
Coach
I’m in Boston, so if you’re joining the Cambridge office this is a great move!
The area is a hot bed for biotech/pharma, so even if you don’t like the firm, you can always shift.
Also, it helps with long-term career progression because there are constantly new companies being formed from local VCs, so more senior people will leave and open opportunities for advancement.
This is in contrast to for example Pfizer in NYC. No other pharma really has a presence in NYC, so for people who want to live in the city, they are essentially stuck.
This can lead to overall career stagnation, while you wait for people to retire for example.
