I keep seeing this one agency reposting a role with slight tweaks to the listing like PHARMA AGENCY or PATIENT-FACING EXPERIENCE. At first I thought it was a different role, but I go to apply for it and it says I've already applied and can't apply again.

I guess these could be BS listings. Just frustrating that I seemingly tick every box they claim to want in the listing but have been ghosted by the recruiter entirely without ever having a chance to speak to the CD.

How many days/weeks are expected from a candidate (Manager+ level) to accept/decline offer?

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

Feeling like I’ve been “bait-and-switched”…

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.
