Don’t tell your exec team until you’re comfortable telling them. If that mat leave is standard, then ideally they will have processes in place to cover it accordingly.

I always say wait as long as you can. People do see you differently and minimizing that is good.
So jealous! I would wait until you would normally tell people...you aren’t required to tell them any earlier, just because they have an amazing policy.

I’ve told my companies after the first trimester. Actually, I told one company at 6 weeks when my boss walked in on me puking 🤪
I was a department lead when pregnant with my first. I waited until I was 6 months to tell my company. I worked with a lot of younger people and programmers. Needless to say a handful felt super uncomfortable around me after they heard the news 🤷🏻♀️
