How acceptable is it to customize role title on resume? As in, if its okay to say “Product Manager and Consultant” / “Product Management Consultant” vs official tittle of just Consultant? Consultant alone doesn’t say much and I’ve been designing web/mobile apps for a few years so the customization is apt, not BS.

Should you mention side hustle work in an interview? Not gaining transferable skills in my current role but have been doing freelance work on the side that is highly applicable.

Are there still veteran advisors that expect their noobs to smile and dial? I get activity drives results but being active for the sake of being active won’t help the noob bring in business

Do you write cover letters? I usually write them but it feels like a waste of time.
