I love my team and the work associated with it but I’m coming up on two years in my role and would like to explore other opportunities within the bank. How do I approach my wanting to seek out internal opportunities with my boss? If I want to start applying, should I speak to my boss first or apply first and then bring it up if I get picked to move forward? I have a great working relationship with my boss but I’m not sure about timing right now.

Let’s talk comp — I’m a remote head of recruitment with 6 years of experience being paid 75K base plus bonuses that got me to 90K this year. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? Between two offers, "Associate Principal" for m&a consulting in the Healthcare industry vs a Director at a F300 company doing M&A and Partnerships. Consulting pays about 50k more. Hey guys! Currently in WM ops at Morgan Stanley for the past 1 year dealing with alternative lending, I’m super underpaid with 3 years of experience which is very frustrating. (73k). Have been at Morgan for 1 year and looking to come over to JPM for an ideal pay bump, but would like to get into IB type roll. Any insight on what I should expect or how to go about applying? Maybe even getting referred? I have a deep knowledge of investments and always felt inclined to go down this route.

I work for a late stage(ipo) start up, earlier this year we were acquired & since then they got rid of our yearly bonuses and gave us an ESOP grant.
2 RIFs later we are almost bare bones. Since we are coming up on our usual yearly evaluations many of us assumed (with multiple conversation from our managers) that pay raises and promotions were due.
In a recent All hands we found out that this year there will be no pay raises nor promotions based off merit. Is it time to jump ship?

Hello, folks! I wonder if you have any advice/info for a person who is looking for an "investment associate" role in Dubai. I have a financial audit background (4 years Big-4), 1,5 year in deal advisory (half year financial due diligence department, 1 year valuation department). I have experience in TMT, retail, Energy and Utility and other industries. Currently I'm living in Eastern Europe.
What is considered to be normal in relation to WBL, compensations in Dubai for such role or similar?

3. Rent condos at discounted rates (for taxes)
4. A small fee of the rent goes to a trust as a land conservation fee in perpetuity (for tax reasons)

If I'm adding multiple people to purchase a property but not on the mortgage, when do they get added - do they need to already be on the purchase agreement? I heard it's easier to do upfront vs. adding them later. I've asked this question in a thread but didn't get a clear response.
