I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

Has anyone moved from Accenture Federal to CGI Federal at Manager/Senior Manager level? Looking at Strategy/Organizational Change Management roles, and curious to know if you feel that compensation and benefits were worth it when measured against your actual experience once you started working with CGI. (I understand that some of it depends on the account you're on, the team you have, etc., just trying to decide if it's worth considering.) Thanks!

With 7 years of experience you shouldn’t settle for anything less than an associate role

Unless things have changed recently, that's at or just about at the max for the SC band. It's an offer for cyber, I presume?
That makes more sense. You won’t get annual bonuses in the federal side of the house. $110k is already doing pretty well for a generic PM role at the SC level in the federal practice. I’m assuming SC means you likely have less than 5 YOE? It doesn’t hurt to try to negotiate a higher salary, but also don’t be surprised if they don’t want to budge. Also don’t expect for your salary to grow much once you get into the firm- getting your number as high as you can when you first start is usually the best strategy to being paid well at Booz, because it will be 3-4% increases from there on out. (with the exception of the occasional promotion and/or market adjustment) l
That’s a high offer for SC. If you level up to Associate you’d get more.
Also these “levels” are generic levels. They apply to all individuals. If someone says they make 70k as sC, and you are offered 110k, it’s okay and normal. It depends on the job and the practice.
You can be a Graphic Designer SC, Finance SC, Strategy SC, Software Engineer SC. So salaries differ by the actual job. Some jobs have 90k as the max for Sc, some have 110k. 110k is low for associate in some position, for some 90k, for some 120k.
What range did you give the recruiter when you initially spoke? If they were below your range then yes I say you have room to negotiate. However, I think $110-$115 is fair for SC in federal consulting.
Always answer honestly when a recruiter asks what your salary expectations are, even if it disqualifies you from the interview process. It’s extremely unlikely that you can low-ball a recruiter to get your foot in the door, and negotiate up to where you’d actually want to be after wowing them in the interview. Just be upfront with your salary expectations and hope it either aligns with the req you applied for or the recruiter knows of another position you may fit into in which it does. Worst case scenario there is no overlap between what you’re willing to accept and the firm is willing to offer, but at least you’ve cleared that up before wasting anyone’s time.
Dm me for Deloitte!
For Booz that’s high.
Got a similar offer @ SC, 110k base, sans bonus, 2 YOE as a software developer in a niche.
