I’m in PA and my firm is accepting resumes. What area of practice are you interested in?
Slow down. Golf. Leave PA. Move to FL, TX, AZ, or anywhere else smaller where its sunny if you're feeling adventurous. You can make a lot of money selling insurance in Baton Rouge and after 10 years its all residual clients so you won't even have to work if you don't want to expand your client base. Most attorneys are suckers. Don't be one.

Check Temple’s career services website if you’re not already, and if you did great in any specific professors’ classes, you should ask them for advice. My group has made hires from local law schools based on direct recommendations from professors we know.
Hey it took me a long time to find a job post graduation. I guess the easiest and most important thing for advice is what do you want to do? I know right now the main thing is to get a legal job but people can give better advice if you want litigation or transactional and the specifically what area of the law if you had your pick.
Find law firms in your region. Identify what practice fits you. Then go on the firm’s site and email the managing partner or practice group leader and ask for an interview/job. Be relentless until you get a “no.” I did this over a period of 3 months and it worked for me. I’m in a big city and probably contacted 25 firms. The worst they can do is ignore you or say no.
I’m assuming you’re in PA. If litigation appeals to you, maybe check out some of the DA and PD offices in the suburban and rural counties. Another option is a common pleas clerkship. You may not earn much but you’ll get courtroom experience quickly, and you can then hang out a shingle (if you like your county) or lateral into a litigation position elsewhere in the state.
