Hi fishes...
Can anyone tell me about the training given in hashedin for lateral employees.
Is it only assessments or is some sort of training also given? And what is the difficulty level?
Will the instructors help the employees....?
Any information will be useful...🙂
Thanks in advance!

Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

I also graduated with a BBA and now work in tech.
-I had 3 tech internships while in school. If you’re still in your first year out of school consider applying for new grad positions/cohorts
-Salesforce certifications are great if you want to be a Salesforce Admin/Consultant but if you decide you want to do something else later, you will be siloed. Same with tech sales.
-Certs/Paths I recommend: AZ900 > AZ104 > AZ304/305. Then, AWS cloud practitioner > AWS solution architect associate > AWS solution architect professional. These will get you in the game and you might find other interests along the way.
-Good luck!
Thank you!
Also have a business degree, it’s a really good foundation for IT work. I have unique knowledge and skills that really help our department make better decisions. Make sure when you interview you ask if they are willing to either assign you a buddy or have someone that you can train with on the job, there is a LOT to learn coming from business.
Absolutely--you can always transition to tech from anywhere!! Certifications are great to prove your passion and ability to learn.
Do a coding bootcamp like LaunchCode, we hire grads from there all the time! LaunchCode is great, they truly equip you with what you need to know to get an entry level position as a software engineer.
