I recently started a new job as an account director. Last I switched jobs, I was an AE, so while I was proactive nobody expected me to just instantly know what to do, I was given tasks. I’m having trouble finding my footing. I am confident in my account management abilities and financial acumen, but I don’t know the client nuances and their processes, and I also don’t want to overstep but also really want to try and step in. Starting a new job at a new level is harder than I thought!

Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year.
