I recently was diagnosed with fibroids and experience heavy bleeding during my periods. I’ve been under of a lot of mental and emotional stress about it and on the heavy days, I find that I’m not able to focus at work due to worrying about my situation. Should I disclose my health condition to my boss for awareness, in case she notices I’m not myself on those days / or if it starts to impact my work quality?

I am thinking of making the jump from SLP to healthcare administration. Looking for insight on pay, job opportunities and job satisfaction. Thank you!!!

Mental Health, inherited or choice? I am finding myself struggling with processing that ADD, Depression, or Bipolar is a chemical imbalance in the brain vs. behavioral therapy. The best analogy given to me is you would treat diabetics with insulin so why not consider prescriptions to help mental health. 2020 has thrown more at me than I’m able to handle. Has anyone here noticed a significant improvement after a prescription to help psych issues?
