Does anyone get depressed on a sort of seasonal schedule? Not like SAD, but in cycles throughout the year that seem to track to the same time period each year.

Do you go see your parents when they are getting surgery?
I've never been afraid of surgery before and my dad's had a bunch (from military). He lives a few states away but I usually get to see him quite often. He's only in his 40s and my mom is with him. The surgery he's about to have is considered high risk. I'm not worried or anything, but it's it customary to go see them when they're having a major surgery? He'll be in-patient for at least a week. Sounds I go after and help my mom? WWYD?

I have found these interviews to be extremely demanding (11+ 45min-1hr interviews with technical/legal specific questions + 10hr writing assessment). Has any one else experienced this? Is anyone else finding that these assessments are becoming more of a norm in the interview process for privacy roles? Thoughts on this or advice? Thank you!

How much should you be earning at the age of 27 in accounting with about 4 years of experience. I’m curious because I’ve been feeling like I should be making more money. Could be because cost of living has sky rocketed where I live but I’d like to hear some salaries around my area (Boston) and see if I should be moving around. I am an accountant in private equity and my base+bonus I’m at about $85k. I’ve had the opportunity to interview for a position starting at $125k and ooff that’s tempting.
