I would start wearing gloves or have some on hand and put them on right in front of the customer if they pulled money out from sock or boobs.
If you ask me, it seems like an entirely reasonable statement to post. But, you know how some managers are about following procedure. You'll probably be reprimanded for posting a sign that wasn't authorized by someone sitting in an office somewhere. But yeah, it might be worth it.
I totally get the urge. A friend of mine did something similar once (a funny little sign by the break room) and it actually lifted everyone’s mood and got the manager to finally come out and laugh. If you go for it, just make sure it’s light, harmless, and doesn’t call anyone out directly.
😂 I've actually seen something like this in person. It's so gross that that happens often enough to require signage. I wouldn't blame you for doing it, your manager might though.
Omg I’m yet to see a sign like this in the wild! I love it!

I feel like it's completely reasonable. That's disgusting.
I would love if this policy were standard lol. I can't stand it when customers hand me money that is damp...
I've seen it before, and it's not as unusual as you might think. A certain percentage of customers, for reasons known only to them, hide cash in bras and underwear. It comes out damp and smelly. God only knows what bacteria are growing on that money. Pockets and purses must be beyond their skill level. Don't even get me started on stripper bills.
Type it. Hand written signs don't belong in businesses.
It's simple hygiene. Shouldn't be hard to process for people.
I think its fine especially the nether realms gross
To me, it might be worth investing in a box of latex gloves! If this is a real problem where you work, it doesn't take long to grab a glove and put it on and take the money. The customer might get the idea - or even complain - but for your safety and health, sometimes you gotta' look out for yourself! Can't believe how much of a slob some people can be...
