Hey Fishes,
Can anyone give me referral ?
Thanks!
Hi Everyone! I have been working in Salesforce for about a year now. But I am not enjoying my work as it's mainly on backend. I have been wanting to move to Web Dev. But someone suggested that like if I like frontend I should try LWC instead as I'm already into Salesforce. So I'm quite confused which way should I go. Can anyone help me with the same Tata ConsultancyAccentureDeloitteZS AssociatesInfosysSalesforceSalesforceAmazonMicrosoft

Go where you’re interested, will be much easier to be recognized as a top performer if you’re actually interested in the content. TMT also has a better rep culture wise at S&
It’s not that easy as just “where you want to go”
OP - we are about to have hundreds of interns and campus hires start in the next few months, we are not hiring any other junior employees unless there is significant demand. FS demand is apparently high enough to still be recruiting, but you can’t just switch to another industry
FS gets sold out in economic booms like other industries, but FS also gets sold out in financial crises
FS is way more in demand relative to supply. IMO Mostly because that’s a rough industry culturally. TMT has good culture here, retains people better.
Business may still be good in a recession for either industries. Shift may be from growth work to more cost work
I'm interested in joining S&, but also unsure of which industry to put myself forward for.
I have experience and interest in both TMT and consumer & retail.
As a snr associate is there opportunity to work across both areas, or are you selected for projects based on industry group you belong to? Thanks
You should join the group you most want to work with. There can be cross staffing but I wouldn’t bank on it.
What is your primary concern?
If you want to go big tech go to TMT. FS does quite a bit of fintech work across payments, insurance, banking, wealth and asset mgmt…
Thanks for the input, Strategy& people!
