I was in a sales role for 3 years at Feldco, wasn’t able to reach my potential earnings due to how their structure was set up, so went to a competitor. Srated at Mad City Windows in August, have been very impressed with almost every step from the interview to now. They’ve been transparent with reasoning behind policies and really let me go out and earn what I’m worth. Really appreciate that and have enjoyed my time here so far. Hoping to be here for many years to come.

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?
