I was in HR, want to move into the data analytics domain after an year. So I quit to do courses and upskill myself, found it hard to get into a proper data job so I settled for an HR Analyst role with same pay as my last job. now I feel like a failure in my career with no time to upskill or move ahead in the direction I want. Kindly suggest on what should I do next. Stay here and grow or keep trying to make a entry in tech.

What is the average amount of time to fill a role? How long in advance should a recruiter start working with a hiring manager to get their position posted? I think it depends on the industry but curious to hear if there is a national average and if that number is even realistic given the increased number of roles in the market. I'm an accounts receivable expert with 8+ yrs of experience. I started with 96k per annum in 2014, and have worked with 4 different MNCs since then. Currently I'm getting approx 9Lpa, and it feels like I'm pretty much stuck here. Switching jobs increases the pay scale, while staying for a while reflects stability.

When I look at the other member's comments here, it seems majority of folks are earning 20-30Lpa or even more.

Any suggestions from mature audience to achieve a big pay raise.

Colleague has put in his resignation. They are offering him whatever he wants to stay including 4days a week work from home. He’s not bluffing and plans to leave.
