I was recently promoted to manager of a big manufacturing company. I’ve had 4 years of industry experience. Did not expect to get promoted so early. Worried salary is too low but struggling to gauge it well because of my experience level. Offer is 111k plus ~13k bonus so ~124k total. Current salary is roughly 110k including bonus. Live in Atlanta. Need any and all advice!

*Ohio* I stepped into a role as Software Engineer (.Net) with no experience at $70k. Six months ago I had brought up the fact I was being underpaid for the job I was doing with now 3 years of experience being the only Engineer on the team and my manager agreed giving me an increase to $90k. My manager is wanting to get me some help and posted a new role modeled after me (3 yrs exp) w/ salary between $88k-$126k. How should I approach my manager about it without looking incredibly greedy?

So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise.
