I was wondering what the jobs outlook for insurance sales agents is and found this report. Seems slightly above average, and it mentions the need for companies to constantly get new customers in order to stay profitable. What do you think?

That's interesting. It's a government report, so it may be optimistic in its forecast, but they do collect a lot of data so it's not baseless. There would always be people coming and going (or retiring), so it makes sense that openings would come along.

I do wonder whether more people will be retiring from insurance in the coming years. It seems people stay in some of those roles well past 60-65. Whereas other industries people bounce sooner.
Not for me. I know people who do well in it, but I just don't have the right personality for selling. I'll stick to desk work with minimal human interaction.
