Become a clinical rep for a device company with an OR product
Assuming you are relatively new to the field, it is in range with what market dictates. With acquired experience (8+ yrs) and certifications, I have paid my techs up to low 6 figures in a major metropolitan market.
On the other hand, if you make the transition into repairing/maintaining imaging equipment, you could reach the 6 figures way sooner.
As the previous contributor mentioned, a clinical rep for surgical products can earn more once commissions are included.
Do you have previous experience with being a service tech already? If yes then you are underpay.
I worked in OR for ventilators while cases went on for emergency support. For about a year. I know I’m being hella underpayed. What is the avg salary for this position?
Would recommend looking at Universities and start ups if you want to remain in the wet lab side of things. Thats my next look as well because I want to grow my wet lab skills as well
I work as a home care/ALF physical therapist halfway through my second year post grad. I make $40 an hour but I feel like the amount I’m doing should be more. I live in the Philly burbs. Anyone have any insight on how much I should be making or if this sounds right?
