That Friday feeling

Hi all,
I have a offer from Perficient and joining in 2 months time. Question :
1: how is the company in terms of job security and projects? I work with web analytics
2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.
It’s only Wednesday. 🤬

Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.
Thanks in advance! Help me escape Deloitte pleaseeee. I want this job sooo much!

My thought is potentially take it because you can always boomerang back especially if you have good relationships at EY.
I would imagine that the GS culture differs across teams too so may be worth at least chatting to them to see if you can gauge anything. You’re in a great position though so nice work and good luck
My parents were bankers and talked about the whole front/back office divide. Additionally I believe there are a tonne of small teams within banks and these would also be different in terms of culture, tempo, personalities etc. E.g. a lot of risk teams would clock off at 5 and have great WLB, and I would also imagine it’d be very different being an analyst in the ESG team versus investment banking as you said.
Possible if I can DM you and you can share some details of the recruiter?
😂😂😂
Have the intro call with the recruiter. See if the role and pay are interesting before worrying about leaving. Worry again if you get the offer.
Coach
Depending on where it is in the bank. A collegue of mine left for GS operation role and left after two years. He said the hours are not worth it given the $ paid. Unless it is a front office revenue generation role, WLB could be challenging in FS space in general. I have to agree with you. People and culture at EY is great and better than a few other places I been to. Stay unless it is such a great offer and promotion you can not turn down.
Did you accept the offer? I’m joining soon so a little perspective would help.
I haven’t been offered a job, the recruiter only approached me to see if I was interested In the opportunity. I guess my original post was about whether it was worth going through the interviews, especially since I really value WLB and culture. In case you’re curious, I did set up some time to discuss the opportunity with the recruiter, but I haven’t even applied yet.
