As it’s early stage of my career I need to learn and then implement but because of that I am daily facing pressure and I am daily worried abt my work . How to overcome this pressure? If you were talked into applying for a position by a good person/someone you admire as a leader. This would be a said “Opportunity of a life a time”, work life balance, more money and all. You ended getting the position and within 3 month you feel you’re living hell on earth. The boss is not good to work with (I’m being very generous), not understanding of the business. The workload is far superior than promised and you just sent go quit. Would you talk with who led you into the job?What to say?

I had two rounds of discussion (more than a month ago) and the recruiter informed me that they’ll be scheduling the HR discussion and then be rolling out the offer.

It has been two weeks now and I haven’t heard from the recruiter nor has my HR discussion been scheduled.

The recruiter does not answer my calls or reply to e-mails.

I faked my resume I mean my contracting firm did and I didn’t have choice and I got the job. Now my client wants to offer me a full time position. I kind of feel like they trust me with the work I’m doing and also considering my past experiences to offer me a full time and moreover it’s only been 3 months.

I know it’s a little unusual but what do you guys think/suggest me to do in this situation?!

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

Curious to know what would be the base salary range for Project Managers in IT implementations in the Houston, TX area. 14 yrs total IT experience and 5 yrs as a PM.

Last week I had an interview with Infosys, it didn't go well as per my expectations but i was able to answer most of the questions asked by the panel and they said I will get the feedback from HR team but it's been more than one week and I didn't get any update on this. I’m my partners only associate and I went on parental leave two weeks ago. I feel horrible for leaving him to handle our cases alone, but am trying to focus on my wife and new baby. I have worked my way up in Insurance for 4 years but the 1st year being an intern/front desk/admin and was promoted twice and now an account associate helping my AMs/AEs manage our Producers' books of business. I was recently approached by a big brokerage for a Client Manager position. I have imposter syndrome and don't think I am qualified because I dont know insurance coverages/mastered what a business would need for a particular industry (continued in comments..)
