IBM is offering me the position of Test Specialist with 7A band but it has offered the position of Senior Consultant with 6B band to my friend.

We both are having 6 YOE in Testing and have been tagged to the same project in IBM.

Then why this difference?? Am I loosing out on my designation?? Or is my friend loosing out on band??

Please suggest.

I’m in a little of a pickle but a good one. Offer A. Established “start up” doing well financially and projected to hit profitability. 130k base.
