I’d like to find a part time role in a start up - how do I go about it? Google has been great in terms of wlb (even though I work overtime sometimes but it’s my choice) but I want to do more, have greater impact, and expand my network. I’m an ex tech consulting manager, now L6 PgM with systems focus: my role involves writing PRDs, designing processes, managing projects, data analysis and vanilla automation (SQL, python, apps script) among other things.

How come in TV shows there are different salaries for different actors? And it's even worse when you bring numbers in. Per episode, there have been cases where some people make twice as much as others.

I once asked a colleague at a radio company how much he's paid monthly, and he outright refused to tell me. In fact, he found it very odd that I asked. I later learned that he was making double my salary. I know it's not an employee's job to fix pay inequity by sharing their salary figures, but I'm still of the opinion that it helps uncover pay gaps. But do you think it's wise to do so at the risk of damaging your work environment or the whole thing backfiring on you? Thoughts are welcome.
