Base: 185k
Signing bonus: 130k in Y1, ~100k in Y2 (paid as comp for
RSUs: 110 shares (~350k), vesting over 4 years (5%, 15%, 40%, 40%, which I think is the standard Amazon schedule)

So TC is ~330-350k per year. Feels decent, but no clue where that is in the band, and finding it hard to figure out non-tech bands.

How do you make, or recommend making, a transition from the public sector to the private sector. Salary, insurance, benifits.

Hi guys, I got an offer from x and i discussed that with my current. At 1st current said they can only give 30% increment. I said I can't stay with this cause i got 70% and expect at least 50%(as the 70% included VP and the current org don't have vp, they have bonus). Then they said they can do max 45%. I really wanted to stay here so I said okay to current. Then now hr called me and said they are matching the offer(no vp). What should I make out of it? What made them change their mind?
