I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? I recently had an interview with HCL and cleared 2 rounds of technical interview. I waited for a week for HR call but no such call was received. I then contacted the POC who scheduled the interview (he is an HCL employee) and he said that I have been shortlisted and will receive HR call shortly. This was 1 week ago and I have still not received any call. Has anyone else faced the same issue? And if yes, should I even expect a call fro HR?

Has anyone ever Upgrades to premium class on a flight (on Alaska in this case) only to cancel for a flight credit? Basically I booked saver fare, need to cancel it but don’t want to eat the cost. It’s $100 to upgrade round trip and premium class can get a flight credit. Is this possible? Or will Alaska not let that happen?
