Hey All!
I have a phone interview for a data scientist role at snowflake comming up. Any advice on how to prep?
The email indicates that the call will cover my experience, motivations, and understanding of Snowflake.
Curious if other have gone through the process and have insights to share. Or if anyone at snowflake can shed light on how I can be effective.

Happy Saturday everyone!! Looking to see if anyone can provide a referral or point me in the direction for job opportunities. Potentially in the tech space. I have years of experience in Marketing! Currently working in the tech/realestate industry as a Marketing Advisor. Microsoft Zillow Inc Paypal Amazon Deloitte Google Facebook (Meta) Dell
My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)
Anyone aware of TCS hiring process? How many days normally they take for the process. I had an interview yesterday both technical and Managerial. After that HR confirmed me over mail that I have cleared the interview rounds and asked to fill all the details on their portal. However, I haven't got any update today so I am just curious how many days they normally take to verify docs and proceed to HR discussion?Tata Consultancy Wipro Infosys IBM Accenture

Do not quit. I would simply say if given the position that I would prioritize this position over the other. Schedule priority will be for this position. If you would like me to be exclusive with this company I would need pay to be sufficient to meet the needs that the second job offers in combination with my current role.
Yes, if you are going into management it is typically not negotiable. As a manager, you will be required to fill in the gap for call outs etc. you will need to be available during all business hours. You basically belong to them at that point. I have seen district managers insist on department managers coming in even with vertigo. Publix is a communist company that does not care about their managers. Associates get away with murder. But once you are in management, all bets are off. This is pretty typical of all other companies, too. I would say if it is a management position, the other job will have to go.

That’s a valid concern. I don’t think it’s normal to ask for you to quit, but it is normal for them to express concern about another job interfering with your managerial buries upon promotion. If they are going to to require me to quit my other job, I’d be sure that the pay is good enough and the opportunity is what I’m looking for as far as career progression.
If they acted like that on the floor, imagine how they will act in the office. Thats a huge red flag the size of Clifford the big red dog.....trust me, Ive worked for a manager like that before, it dosnt end well for anyone.
It’s a tactic that forces financial and psychological dependence, it does not improve chances of promotion it well, only lead to them knowing you have a more open schedule which will not increase your hours or pay, but will be brought up when they have needs, protect yourself keep the other job
I wouldn’t say it’s normal for them to tell you to quit at all!
And I definitely wouldn’t quit, seems weird!
Any job that requires you to quit before you are hired for another is liable for a law suit. You should never be told that you have to quit a position; nor, should you be forced out of a job without having a documented reason, which shows that you were not following the company’s rules and regulations. If a job/ company tries to force you to quit a position without having a written cause; you have the right to and responsibility to go to the company’s Human Resources Department; and, if they aren’t willing to show you the proper reason for why you are being terminated, you have the right to contact the Equal Employment office of the agency for your questions to be answered. Good luck in the future endeavor’s.
