I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

Did they ask you for a salary range before you went through interviews? In my experience, being on the high end won't cause you to not receive an offer.
I had given them a range and they didn't want to go that high but they gave me a year 1 offer where with the bonus, I got there. I didn't accept it, but the key is that asking for the high end didn't stop an offer
Plus, if they have already been through the process of doing interviews, they aren't going to not give an offer because of the range you provided. The amount of paperwork that goes into recruiting isn't worth it. If they feel you're a good fit, they will keep discussing and try to make something work.
Know what you are worth. Also the recruiter is usually paid as a percentage of first year salary as the fee so of a recruiter is involved its in their own interests to see the job filled at the upper end of the range. 😂😂😂
