Yes all within their definitions. Some companies still want you staying a certain amount of miles away from HQ or another branch.
With a remote job, companies just care if whether or not you’re getting the job done, even if that means you’re doing work on a beach in Ibiza.
Plus, there’s a transition from remote roles transitioning into hybrid roles, meaning if it’s the latter, then you would be spending part of the your week working remote and the rest of it physically in the office.
During the interview process, it helps to keep an open dialogue with recruiters about what their current WFH policy is and what that may entail for the future, especially since each company is different
States will come after you for taxes if you work in them long enough.
Depends on the company. Some want you within a specific region or timezone. Also need to consider if they are set up for employment in other area. Big companies are fine. Small companies that use a third-party for their HR should be fine too. I live in PA, but worked out of CA and paid all PA specific taxes. Be careful with this. There may be some taxes even the company won't know about. I had a county tax I had to make sure was taken out properly.
