More money for sure. It's the only thing I really care about. Commute would be second on the list. I'd pass on anything requiring 45+ minutes each way. Culture would be 3rd, mostly because I don't think any restaurant really has a healthy work culture.
If the work culture is good which is rare in restaurants I’d say that’s an important consideration because no amount of money can fix a crap team/management. You’ll end up doing a lot more work in those places. Commute is last for me unless it is over 45 minutes
Factor your commute time into your hourly and see which job has a better hourly
I say 1) pay and 2) commute are most important to me. Even if the culture is great, if I could be paid more elsewhere I’d leave. If the pay is the same, then I’d still take commute over culture. I couldn’t drive 2h each way to a job for example - that would drive me crazy!
