Insight on Venable?
Guys, my friend had her last working day last week and she thinks she forgot to fill her timesheet for her last 2 days before handing over the laptop. What can be the consequences of this? She is really worried about this
P.S she belongs to a back end team serving the firm internally charging time on only one code.

@a3 - no they don't. I did not expect them to care but I do think everyone deserves responses. This is one reason I am looking outside of consulting. It's the way the whole industry treats people.
It's at that point where I would stop pinging. Wait a couple days and try sending a follow up email. Usually it's the other way around - I send a follow up email and if that doesn't get a response, I would ping. But if your pings have been ignored, I'd take the hint.
Agreed! I emailed and pinged. At least tell me that you found someone else, fuck.
Tbh honest, they are probably like big Sean. I don't fuck about you. Emailed 3 MDs that before about some roles and nothing, 2 months later I get a reply saying if I'm still looking...they don't care
Common decency these days is more the exception to the rule, unfortunately. Keep in touch but not to the point of annoyance. Follow up in a few more weeks/months. It is the end of the fiscal year and administration. In my humble opinion I believe everyone deserves a response--esp if they're in our own firm. You never know when the tables may turn... Also keep in mind this person could potentially become your manager, so you're observing them and their work ethic. Strategy, grasshopper.
@A2 - I can assure it's everywhere, not only consulting.
