If you were new to the industry (me) what questions would you ask senior management and senior associates if you got the chance? I feel like all my questions are super basic and stupid.

PARTNERS: two questions —1. If you see an associate has really low hours for the month, do you imagine them chillen on a beach somewhere or do you consider they probably spent most of their days sitting in front of the computer being “available”? 2. If you send an associate a random e-mail on a weekend like “Can you pull X and send to Y”, would you get annoyed if they responded saying they weren’t by a comp or would you consider it reasonable that they wouldn’t be by a comp on a weekend?

Is there a way to land a job in Google/Facebook without knowing how to code?? Looking into Program/Product Management roles.
P.S. Currently working on IT & Cloud security engagements and is good at it.

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

I’ve just passed the final interview for a Business Development Manager position for SaltPay, UK. Does anyone know of the commission structure, KPI’s etc to expect? Should you add your credentials in your email signature? Would love to hear your thoughts. I have an MBA mentioned in mine and I’ve heard mixed feedback about it on the internet. I value my education, also, they paid for my MBA so obviously they want employees to have one.

Since working in Wealth Management the most consistent advice I’ve received is “Don’t burn bridges” because apparently in WM people firm hop all the time, so you are likely to work with them again at some point.
