Tcs salary onsite at Davenport USA
Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!
Fidelity Investments I joined FIL on 08th August 2022 and hence was eligible for appraisal but even after a good feedback, I was told that there is no increment in salary as well as bonus because of "Too Soon To Decide" rating. And this is being followed not just in our team but in whole FIL. This is the first time I am hearing such kind of thing and didn't found any thing like this on "HR Hub". So, if anyone of you know about this or have received similar gyan from Manager, please share your experience. Fidelity In

Mine was a fixed salary and occasionally I would get a bonus (but not as often as I probably should have)
I've always gotten a fixed salary working for hotels. Perhaps some organizations pay a bonus, but I suspect that might be in specific areas, like sales and marketing. Those would be areas where a motivated employee could generate new business.
Mine is a fixed salary. The only time performance has anything to do with it is when we get our yearly raises. And even then, it is basically the same 3% raise for everyone. Performance doesn't really matter here, it seems.

I know someone that worked in the hospitality industry and they showed me that their pay was a fixed salary with benefits. I know some companies offer sign on bonuses which is great.

From what I’ve seen in hotels, it really varies. Some places are mostly fixed salary with small performance bonuses, while others mix in tips, commissions, or profit-sharing to keep you motivated. Definitely curious how different companies strike that balance too, feels like there’s room for improvement everywhere!
