Very interesting read today.
Does anyone want to be my M&A coach? Will pay.
My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

I'm looking but I'm hanging on to the job I've got. I'd just like to be doing some more interesting. And, of course, I'd like to be getting more money. So far the job search is pretty stagnant. I was hoping this year would see some improvement on that front, but I'm not seeing it yet.
I feel you on that. It’s tough when you’re stuck in a job that’s not challenging or paying what you deserve. Hopefully things pick up soon! It can be frustrating when progress feels slow, but just keep pushing and something will come through.
Definitely number 3, but I will not let go of my current role until I find another. I feel like I could be earning more, and be in a role where there isn't a glass ceiling (not in terms of gender). With the way the job market is now, I feel like I am going to searching for a while.
That's a good move. Never quit your current job if you don't have something lined up.
I have been looking for a new role for about six months now due to being laid off. The job market is terrible and it seems like half the jobs I apply to aren't real and the other half don't ever get back to you. I am really hoping the job market is going to get better.
I am unemployed, after having to take a 3 year brake . The issue I have is I’m 65, and finding age an issue . My experience means nothing
I think it's real even down to 40
1. I apply and apply and apply. I'm tired of contract gigs. I just want a stable PERMANENT position,
In tech, it's usually 1 right? Withe constant lay offs going around. I really wish better for 2025.
Like many others...laid off.
I want a meaningful ownership stake in my employer's firm. Decision making authority that comes directly from my role as a stakeholder.
Use LinkedIn as your professional social media platform.
Personal reason :).
1- I’m currently doing InstaCart and Roadie but you can’t count on it being busy. Plus it’s SOOOO cold so sitting in my car waiting I burn through so much gas trying to keep warm. Also, people just don’t want to tip. It’s unbelievable to me. These people are sitting at home, all warm and cozy, being lazy while I’m out doing all their shopping and when they don’t have an item, I try to offer replacements and they say “are you sure there isn’t anymore____?” Ummm…YES! I’m standing here looking at the empty shelf. They aren’t just going to magically appear because you want some. Someone is doing the driving to and from the store, searching for all the items, for every item that is out of stock,.
I need atwmwwwwww
Although i hear where you are coming from. They legit are paying you to do just that. Buy the items for them so they can stay home a be ”lazy”. Tips are nice, but what are they tipping for? You doing your job? the alternative is them doing it themselves. Which then puts you out the job.
Food for thought.
Unemployed
Unemployed
1 I’m unemployed at the moment due to mass layoffs
Number 3, the firm wasn't paying early enough for about 1year plus
Reason no.4 is missing from the list - people on a career break looking to join but not getting many opportunities 😢
That's unemployed
Unemployed
No.1 seriously searching for a new job
1. Laid off due to a company restructuring. Job was eliminated in September of 2024.

I think the main reason I'm unemployed is that my best options near me just aren't hiring. One company has had the same listings pretty consistently for over a year and its location in North Carolina was the only one where I found new employees on LinkedIn.
Earnings money, but satisfaction level poor; like making a product, but lack of time, documention project obtaining lots of bug. I wish get a structured company 😞
