Ignore the title, I'm an AC at LEK. Been here for 3 years. It's really not bad. 60-75 hours per week is pretty typical for CDDs and strategy; IB and PE is worse. I always carve out 30 for lunch, 1 hour + for dinner, schedule a workout class midday midweek, and have date night with GF Thursday evenings (OBS). Some As don't STAND UP for themselves: they eat at their desks, are glued to Teams, suck at upwards management (hence they wait to get "dismissed"), then complain when they get crushed 🤪

Thanks HR.

Still won’t apply to LEK. 60-75 hrs a week is BAD when you only get paid for 40.

Please print out your post, put it on your bathroom mirror and read it every morning and see if what you wrote still resonates in the same way.

If it does, apply your clown makeup and go about your day.

But hopefully one day you’ll read it, see that you’re buggin then you’ll put away the clown makeup and quit.

And 12 years of working 68hours on average is:
42,432 hours. They are executives right now of F500 who didn’t even put in half those hours and clear $1M.

So I hope the money is worth it, if you make it to 12 years.

I also hope once you retire you don’t keel over like most after working such stressful jobs.

Again HR, LEK employees consistently play themselves. Including you.

Just take the red nose and floppy clown shoes and stop coming on FB with your propaganda. NO ONE WANTS TO JOIN YOUR CULT

It’s not a badge of honor that you have Stockholm syndrome

this is your reminder that LEK leadership and / or HR has been proven to be on these posts. not saying that’s OP, but it’s embarrassing when there’s such desperation to save face.

Thanks - I’ve always wondered..

In 40+ years of working, I can count on one hand the number of 60-75 hour work weeks.

That explains it.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)
