Hey fishes,
I have given the interview in Hexaware and later on I got the email to fill the CAF form which is also done. Nos it's been 20 days and no call, no e-mail at all! I can see the status as offet pending.
I am on notice period and I have only 1 month remaining.
Is it like, hexaware will release the offer at the end time or something! Because I'm eagerly waiting for the offer as I don't have much time now!

If you want to look older, grow a beard.
And if you’re a lady... try also growing a beard. 🤷♂️
Perhaps stating the obvious... but are you doing everything you can as far as dressing “older” professionally, hair style, maybe glasses, etc to present as older? Speaking style, vocal fry, how you carry yourself might also feed into.
Do you have a trusted older friend or colleague you could ask for blunt honesty/constructive criticism if anything surface like that might be able to be tweaked?
Well when they bring you in, you pretty much have the job it’s just a chemistry check. I would say to be yourself 100% and dont hold anything back even if you have a wicked or crazy sense of humor. People can sense when you hold things back and causes them to not want to hire you. If you aren’t doing that, I would immediately address it with a disarming joke. “Most people think I’m 12 but yes, I really am 33 with 11 (or however many years) of experience."
GCD1 is right. But it’s a sad reality. I think many agencies are missing out, frankly. I’ve known some really introverted, awkward or curmudgeonly creatives who were brilliant. A good number of the best creatives have a few screws loose.
It’s not an age thing. It’s a personality fit thing.
This will work in your favor in ten years.
...they change their minds. The feedback is usually that they’re looking for someone more senior. I’m sure some of this is in the way I carry myself, but I also just look young. People usually assume I’m in my early 20s. Is there any way to address this without being awkward about it?
Happened the same with. Don’t know what I was doing wrong eventually I got a job. But was very frustrating
Hi, I’m the person who posted the “Wow, you’re old!” discussion in the Advertising bowl recently, where someone literally said that to me in an interview. This means apparently agencies want that 5-minute window between young and old. The sweet spot. So whatever that sweet spot is, we all have to gun for it.
Senior VP1 and Senior AD2 both have great advice. There’s something about the way you carry yourself that makes the agency concerned about how you would be with a client in the room. “Immature” for lack of a better word.
I interviewed for an ACD gig based on my work and experience. When I came in (I look very young) I had a great day of interviews but eventually they said they would hire me as a senior but not ACD because they wanted someone with more experience. It was completely based on perceived age because they knew my work history going in.
