What do you wear WFH?
Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

This is the weekend... depressing

I currently work as a biomedical scientist but I want to change my career; so far I’ve done Salesforce Sale cloud consultant and Administrator exams and I am certified. I’m currently studying for the Service Cloud consultant certification .
So I would really appreciate if anyone could refer me for entry level roles in salesforce . I live in London, but I’m happy to relocate . Here’s my LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/modupe-olotu and the link to my online Portfolio https://mbosalesforcehow-to.carrd.co/

Do you work with other CDs at the agency?
When it comes to agency politics you either play the deep game or the wide game. If one particular person doesn't like you, make sure you crush it with everyone else. If no one seems to like you, find the one person who likes you the most and ingratiate yourself like crazy. It sounds to me like you need to play the wide game. Get on other projects, work with other people, develop relationships outside this one. If everyone likes you except one person, it seems like that person is the problem.
Just know that you’re great.
How often is this feedback? Does the CD do that to everyone? Did the CD interview and hire you? Have you hung out with CD outside of work?
Sometimes it’s really hard to crack the code. I tried to put in tons of work. Asking feedback from the CD, my peers, and close friends at work. I could never crack it. While the CD would totally shower other teammates with accolades, I got nothing.
Seems like lazy feedback to me. I’d ask “okay, understood, I’ll get it where it needs to be. Can you help me with what’s necessary to get it there, or some more clarity on where it needs to be?”
Or “I’m all in for pushing this. What direction do you want me to push it in?”
I know it’s a somewhat dangerous game to play and you don’t want that to be the long term communication between you two, but it can at least help you get a compass of what they mean when they say those things.
I always struggled early on with the client script feedback of “make it more emotional.” I’d scream and rant at account people over the ambiguity of “what emotion.”
Maybe you can schedule a one on one with them under the premise of “feel like I’m missing the mark pretty often, want to align on what your benchmark is.” Own it and give them the opportunity to play hero.
As Freelance 1 and Senior CW 2 say, gotta play the game a little sometimes.
