I'm a Florida attorney with just over 5 years of experience (3 years as a prosecutor and 2 years in first party property insurance defense). I'm looking to transition out of civil litigation and move into an area like estate planning. I do not have practice experience in this area, but I would rather work in an area where I can provide services for individuals and families. Any advice as to how best to make that transition from litigation to EP? How do I make myself competitive?

You can do it but it’s a completely different skill set from the one you are used to. I would suggest going for your LLM in Tax if you are looking to do high level planning. You may want to start getting into probate litigation and then slide into planning after you have exposed yourself to trusts and how the process works when they are administered

Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Any good startups to consider? Anyone have any insight or advice?

Gonna be starting an MFSA role here soon. I know there’s 10 weeks of training but how do you recommend I better prepare outside of training to excel in this role?

Thinking of applying to be an ASA and to the FL AGO. Would like trial experience or civil rights/con law work.

Thoughts appreciated!
