Hello everyone. I will be transitioning from the Navy soon and want to work in the cybersecurity field. I have an active secret clearance, BS in strategic intelligence, working on a masters in cybersecurity, and taking Security+ in December. I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. What can I do if I believe I’m being overcharged for utilities. I was charged prorated around 125 for 11 days for water and electricity (this is my share in a four bedroom apartment). I think this is crazy expensive for utilities for 11 days. I did just move to Austin, is it normal for utilities to be this high ?
