I'm a Fresher Full Stack Dev at a product-based startup (1.5 yrs). Handled end-to-end enhancements & critical prod issues. Due to strong performance, was trusted with integrations, installations/deployments from trial validation to prod servers, and even sent to client locations for requirement gathering till delivery. While peers stayed within app dev, I managed multiple responsibilities across dev, deployment & client handling. Feels like responsibilities grew much faster than compensation.

Are cover letters important if they don’t ask for one? There are so many job postings and applicants I can’t tell if they would be beneficial to show effort or just a waste of time to write with how little time I assume people are looking at applications with the mass hiring going on. If I should be writing one, any advice how to format?
