Please advice better one for me to join considering perks and benefits and career growth. I know WLB is better at Wells.

Did you do any internships or any kind of special project that you might be able to leverage to find a job? And does your school offer career services? You can contact them even after you graduate and have them help you connect with alumni and find opportunities. It's a tough market so don't feel bad about not being able to find a job, even qualified professionals are having a hard time. Make sure you are using ATS optimization strategies for your resume.
I had an internship at Woodward for a year so I've been able to get some experience there but no luck with staying on so I've been looking elsewhere. The career center helped me a little with my resume but ultimately it's been a minor impact on the process.
Feel free to dm your resume incase you want a rando’s opinion. I spent the first 5 years of my career in design (cad, analytical, fea)
As a new grad, you are better off spending 2-5 years at a big company - GM, Ford, Raytheon, Boeing. When they do hire, it’s 2000 engineers. And they do layoff too !
Your resume will look good 10 years from now.
Message anyone you know who works there and get a referral link. Don't just put the name of the person when you apply yourself, as that doesn't have the same reach, but my last job I went really far getting a personal link to apply through my referrer which gave me an edge
Ever try applying to NAVFAC? Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command. I’m a retired ME from NAVFAC, retired at 57, great pension w/SS, and yearly COLA’s. NAVFAC is always in high need for ME’s and you get to work around the globe for the Navy. Exciting energy and infrastructure design jobs needed.
What job titles do MEs typically hold in those sort of positions? My family is relocating to Pax River in about a year. I’m trying to figure out how to parlay seven years of mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing (MSME and about two years of data science experience) into a ME position with NAVAIR or associated contractor. Any tips?
