I'm an experienced Senior Loan Processor/Underwriter with Management experience with a very reputable bank in San Francisco. I left my job in 2018 to focus on my family. I relocated, covid happened, and it's taken me a while to get back to work. Here I am now looking for employment and it's been such a challenge. I've applied to less senior roles due to my career gap but I'm over qualified then senior roles don't want me because of my career gap. What's a mother to do?

I'm a brand new attorney (passed the Feb 2021 bar) who started an in-house counsel position a few months ago (where my focus is negotiating agreements for the sale of my company's software). I was a contracts manager on an in-house team for 4 years prior, which is why I was able to go straight in-house. I'm entirely skipping out on firm life, which feels both good and bad. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? so every single major dip the last 4 months have been magnified by the use of leverage. If btc drops “naturally” by 5%, but liquidations are in the billions (which they have been), then that 5% drop turns into 15%. Over leveraged apes are literally screwing it up for all of us more than just themselves. Frustrating but also somewhat positive news that onchain analytics, fundamentals, and general TA are still in play. We’ll see what happens because I don’t think these levered traders will stop

After listening to the Mike Saylor podcast with Lex Friedman, it made me reconsider my notions I had about BTC layer 2. IMO ETH has thoroughly eaten BTC’s lunch from a development/dapp perspective. I’m 50/50 allocated in both because as Mike says BTC is durable digital property while I see ETH as the platform for application functionality. Would be interested to hear other’s takes. At the core of it, I’m not sure myself and others will ever want to spend BTC, even if fees were negligible.
