After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

I was in the final stages of an interview with Microsoft two weeks ago, in partner marketing. Then the recruiter told me they were putting the hiring process on hold to assess the need for the role. Well, then we heard about Microsoft layoffs last week. Seems like most were in Xbox and Project Alpha but there’s not a lot of information out there. Should I hold out any hope that I’m going to get this job? Any insights on how much these layoffs have impacted the marketing org and/or new hiring?

Make sure your coach / peer buddy is aware.
They hate that. They put you in this office for a reason....Because they need you here. My office has a strict policy, you intern here you get an offer here....don't like it then don't accept....or go intern where you want to work.
Should have interned where you wanted then
Obviously different firm, but when I completed my internship we all filled out a form with various things including desired work location and service line. At that point I switched into financial services. My decision to switch offices came later and was pretty smooth and easy. I just reached out to my HR contact from my internship. You don’t necessarily have to intern where you want to work
I got an offer and THEN decided I wanted to transfer to a smaller office close to my hometown, not the best way to go about it but thankfully they were very accommodating and made it happen. I got lucky hope it works well for you too
remind her of this? I don’t want to ruffle feathers, but at this point I am not going to move for an offer. Any advice is appreciated, PwC specific advice would be awesome.
I know it’s based on need, if I even get an offer. I just don’t want to get an offer in current city (not desired city) because I didn’t speak up.
@PWC1, gotta go where the opportunities are. Didn’t get any attention from recruiters in home city, PwC doesn’t even send a recruiter to my state school (25000 students plus)
What office are you interning at vs. trying to go to? As a general rule, if the firm likes you they will try to make it work, but interning in a large office and trying to get offer moved to a small office is obviously much more difficult than the other way around.
OKI market, all of the offices are pretty small. Trying to go to a similar sized office
Get the offer first
Tell your recruiter a couple weeks in advance I made the switch the same way!
My office is the same, won't transfer offers elsewhere. Many will though. Guessing you're the same intern that's been asking about this once every few days on here.
Partner here — office only gets so many intern slots. When somebody interns in the wrong lace it pisses me off. If they are really good , I make a call to the other office. If not take it or leave it
There’s your answer OP. Hope you’re a rockstar of an intern
I did my internship in a smaller office and then transferred to the NYC office for after graduation. I told HR about halfway through and they made it happen no problem. Just be vocal about it now don’t wait.
