Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

I had a technical discussion for HCL on 3rd Oct. It's been more than a week. I still haven't received a status on that interview. I have also received a "Resume shortlisted" mail from their careers app after a week.
Does it mean I'm selected? There's no intimation of the status at all. The HR don't reply on mails/calls.

I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. My last job was a temporary remote job where I didn’t really interact with my supervisor and the jobs before that were at my family’s business (I do not speak to any of them for serious personal reasons.) First of all, I love that this is a group. This is why I joined this app. Thank you. But I’d love advice on how/were to transition away from banking and finance. Bachelor degree in agriculture, National guardsmen, seeking $75k/yr, ideally remote. I feel stuck and lost because I took a leap of faith to get into banking with no experience and now I have no relative experience in another field/industry to get me out.
