Digital Bowl

Im at a crossroads deciding between training in Salesforce vs Adobe Experience Manager. I have a few years of experience in CMS/DAM/web implementation and mgmt, and a few month in saesforce.

Devil’s advocate: customer experience is a harder sell than sales optimization and the marketing folks on the digital side often have less $ than their sales counterparts. The riches are in the niches as they say but for more flexibility and ease of selling work / personal bill ability I’d go SF.

AEM lead here. I'm biased but would generally say that the market for Salesforce is much broader therefore possibly safer bet. However given the more niche space of AEM and Experience Cloud expertise, it's an area where you can with high performance excel faster if the market plays along.

Also, now that Adobe bought Magento you can expect to see more demand for AEM/Magento combo

Go SFDC. AEM losing market share. CMS is commodity.

I understand that theyre both in a completely different area of expertise. But would like feedback based on growth opportunities, compensation, etc, for both in and outside of accenture..
