I need help with my interviewing skills
Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe during the holiday season. I wanted to take a moment to highlight a role that I’m hiring for - Sr. Learning & Talent Development Partner. If you’re interested, I’ve added to the Fishbowl jobs board - https://joinfishbowl.com/job_rpc2p5vsvq. Feel free to reach out directly if you’d like to chat. :)
I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

I almost went to a f500 IA group but their max salary was only 10% higher than what I was making in PA. Then my firm gave me a significant amount to stay. I think industry is probably lagging behind PA compensation.
This is laughable. Your company doesn’t pay a competitive salary but you post on here trying to figure out why no one wants to interview. Offer more pay if you want top talent, that’s what you should come back with and tell your team/HR department.
Laughable? I'm just trying to get an understanding given my friends in public aren't being offerred more
The reality is the comp your company is offering isn’t competitive. It may be competitive with other IA departments in your area but it’s not competitive with the candidates you’re looking for (I’m assuming you’re looking for Big 4 seniors with certs, who in this market will have way better exit opps than $110K internal audit roles).
Most seniors I know who are leaving PA at the moment (including myself) are making anywhere from $125K-$200K (albeit the $200K is probably an outlier and most are closer to $135-$150K)
No almost all of them are in some sort of hybrid model. I think 2-3 days a week in office is the norm

What's the comp and location? You're likely looking for people who want out of the big 4 right? They'll want a significant pay bump since progression will likely be much slower
What kind of company are you at?
