I’m being offered a bargaining unit GS 14 position. I’m currently remote but the position is two days a pay period and leadership does not offer remote agreements. I’m hearing the rumors of potential 50% in office requirements. I have a current ADA for remote work but I can’t go through the process with fed unless I accept the job and there’s no guarantee. Thoughts?

I’ve been with my current company for a little over 5 years now and since the start of the pandemic have been WFH. I absolutely love WFH and have always wanted a position in which I could WFH. There is talk of bringing everyone back to the office full time and that’s not what I would like to happen. I’ve been searching for a new position in which it would be a remote role. I accepted a FADP offer but I have lifelong crippling anxiety It leads to (TMI) diarrhea, I can’t sleep at night, among a lot of other issues. I see a therapist and have their support in school accom. I appear high functioning and ever since uni went remote my life and performance has only improved. I know I’m capable of getting the work done and they must see potential if they hired me. But I feel that if I ask for WFH or other accom. I’m gonna be shooting myself and my career in the foot.
