Have your nonprofits announced a return back to the office from WFH? My org is scheduled to return after labor day.

It seems mine will never go back to the office 100%. Management said they will eventually implement a 2-day in the office model. But, for example if we had to go to court or the detention center that counts towards the 2 days. They were aiming for the start day to be in July but with the raising COVID cases, that is no longer the case.

Best Big 4 company to pursue working for as a working mom? I am currently a year one at a small local firm, but we do not do public company audits, and I feel that staying here will hinder future opportunities.. main reason I joined is flex work offered/100% WFH. But I find myself logged on pretty much all day and constantly working, without the b4 salary/name to show for it. Any advice/ suggestions?

Recommendations for firms to look into in South FL? I'm in Ft. Lauderdale but am open to Boca or Miami. I'm a first year associate in ID (coverage issues) but really would prefer transactional work. More importantly though, I'm looking for companies who pay relatively well (doesn't necessarily have to be market), are open to remote/hybrid work, aren't sweatshops. I'd settle for insurance work if theres good WLB & $$$ lol

I’ve applied to a job I’m qualified for, description is DMV or remote. I’m not in the area but have WFH experience so I messaged the recruiter on LinkedIn who asked for my resume. After sending my resume they say the job has changed to DMV only. I check the job posting on their site and it still says DMV or remote.

I guess I’ll never know…but was that a rejection? 🥲

Also, in general, very annoying to find out after sending resume/reaching out that a job will not be fully remote.

I’m thinking of treating myself to a watch to celebrate some recent successes, and have narrowed it down to either a Datejust 36 with the blue sunburst dial and stick markers or a white dial Daytona. However, I’m concerned the Daytona makes too much of a statement and will bring unwanted attention in a way the DJ would not. What are your thoughts?
