Anyone been able to work from Dubai for a UK/US firm and benefit from no taxes? I know if you are a US citizen you pay taxes where you are globally, but if you are British, then you only pay income tax on UK income - so if you live more than half the year abroad you are classed as non-domicile resident, but wanted to hear if anyone’s done this or heard about it?

This isn’t relating to investing but we are looking buy a SFH in South Orange NJ. We are have a 2 yo and we are moving from Sacramento. It is a close to a train station to New York.
Does any one here have any info, good or bad things to know about the area. We toured 3 different homes and they were relatively affordable by (600-750k) and it seemed like a small town community but we are not familiar with east coast/ New England. It’s going to be our first move there.

Anyone using Edward Jones? Feel like we did a mistake and rolled over all my husbands retirement accounts from different employers and our kids 529 under them Jan 2020. Since then market is down and accounts lost20%. But the fees every month is pretty high around $200. I am worried to move it to fidelity or some other place and manage myself(not very confident), then I have to sell all of the Edward Jones managed funds and buy new. sell low buy low makes sense but don’t want to loose anymore.

Can anyone invest in Roth IRA asking with 401k or is there a limit based on salary? I was told if you are making above X, you can't invest in Roth IRA. If this is true what's is X amount?

Recently got married and about to rent both of our properties and buy a new house for us. Is there a financial gain by creating a business for our rentals? As in a tax break for that income?

Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. However, with todays prices and interest, will it make more sense to rent out our current home and rent a home ourselves vs. selling and buying immediately when we move? Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)
