I’m considering making a career switch but don’t really know how to go about it. I’m currently a mgr in security ops but it’s taking a toll on me. For the past year , in my off time I’ve been working on building other skills and exploring other interest. I’ve completed a bootcamp , and have been more focused on development side of the house.

I don’t know I want to leave cyber all together , maybe work more on the automation side or detection analytics. Anyone have any experience on that side?

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. At a previous company... we were contractually obligated to have deployed (and provided 24x7 monitoring of) an AT&T Cybersecurity product suite for a managed network client, but we never deployed the solution.
